I was born on the East Coast, but grew up in California. When I was a kid, my mom worked as a freelance writer and mercilessly edited my school papers. “No fluff,” she’d say. This helped me become a concise, engaging writer.
I began singing when I was young, too, and this love grew as I did. I studied music in college and have spent the better part of my life onstage. About eight years ago, I melded my two passions and began songwriting, leading me to form my band, Late Slip. Around this same time, I also began writing and editing professionally.
Over the years, I’ve contributed creative marketing support to Whole Foods Market, Amoeba Music, YogaWorks, Ergobaby, Pharm Table, and Garcia Street Urban Farm. I’m currently working as the Digital Marketing Manager for Brooklyn Flow and its sister business, Grounded Cafe.
I’m really passionate about food, nutrition, and well-being so I went back to school a few years ago to earn a second bachelor's in nutritional sciences. OH also, my band Late Slip just released our debut album, I Love You. It was pressed to vinyl and everything. I’m so tired, but happy tired. Triple Gemini, remember? ;)
